This is a Korean bl series and since it's release has been very successful despite the fact that it was filmed in a very conservative country, South Korea. It stars Han gi Chan and Jang eui Soo.

About the series

This is a love story between Han Tae-joo, the heir of TB Group, and his best friend Kang-gook who is also his body guard. They have been friends for fifteen years but as they get older, they slowly realize that they might like each other more than friends but they simply ignore their feelings and made no moves to act on it until a new female student starts hitting on Kang gook.

My Thoughts.

The series took me on a roller coaster even though it was only eight episodes. The actors portrayed their roles perfectly. We could feel the intensity between them and how difficult it was to hold back on their feelings especially Kang gook. For a long time, he decieved himself into thinking that his feelings for Tae Joo was purely platonic since the latter latched onto him for comfort after loosing his mother but with time, he realized that it was deeper than that. It was love and he didn't care if Tae Joo's father rejected them.

Kang gook on the other hand was more bolder in expressing his feelings but later had to separate from Tae Joo so there would be peace. However, it was still a happy ending for the two of them which makes it all the more worth while to watch. Anyway, the theme of friends who become lovers after years of being clueless will never get old.
